Thermoplastic fluoroplastic THV is made of TFE, VDF, HFP three kinds of monomer copolymerization, the world only the United States 3M company subsidiary Dyneon company production, trade name DyneonTMTHV.
THV is a meltable thermoplastic fluoroplastic with excellent comprehensive properties: high flexibility, relatively low processing temperature and wide processing temperature range, excellent lamination, weather resistance, chemical resistance, broadband light transmission (UV to IR), good adhesion to various substrates, E-beam crosslinking, very low flammability, coextrusion, coblow molding, lamination and coating with polyolefins and other temperature sensitive materials at relatively low temperatures. The application field is very wide, can be used in automobile manufacturing, aviation industry, wire and cable, coating industry, etc.
As the content of each component in the fluoroplastic is different, the TFE/VDF/HFP copolymer can be plastic or elastomer. As a thermoplastic fluoroplastic THV, it should generally contain 45wt% to 65wt%TFE, 15wt% to 35wt%VDF, and 10wt% to 20wt%HFP.
THV synthesis process is as follows:
Recycling fluoroplasticsAfter adding 110L deionized water, 105g of 30% ammonium perfluorooctanoate, 200g of ammonium oxalate and 114g of diethyl malonate into a 190L polymerization kettle with stirring, the manufacturer alternately vacuumed and filled nitrogen several times, raised the temperature to 40 ℃, started stirring at 210rpm, added HFP to the kettle pressure of 800kPa, added VDF to the kettle pressure of 900kPa and added TFP to the kettle pressure of 1500kPa.
Inpress 50ml of 2.62% KMn0 solution to initiate polymerization. The fluoroplastic manufacturer continuously adds HFP/TFE(0.313/1wt), VDF/TFE(0.430/1wt) mixed monomers and 2.62 KMnO4 solution at a speed of 85 ml/h to maintain a kettle pressure of 1500kPa and a polymerization temperature of 40 ℃. Finally, 33.4kgTFE is added and the reaction is carried out for 5h and 40min until the kettle pressure starts to drop.
Finally, 171.7kg of slurry with a solid content of 33.2 was obtained, which was moved to a 250L mixing tank, deionized water and 2.5L of concentrated HCL were added, stirred for demulsification and separation, 36L of perfluoroheptane was sprayed into the powder resin, washed with deionized water six times, dried at 100 ℃ for 12h, and finally 58kgTHV was obtained. According to the analysis of the recycling fluoroplastic manufacturer, the THV contains 57wt%TFE, 25wt%VDF, 18wt%HFP, melting point 160 ℃,MFI is l1.8, which is equivalent to THV500G brand.
